Green Coffee Extract

The Green Coffee Extract which we offer is derived from dried green coffee beans (coffea robusta) and has an active ingredient called Chlorogenic acid. Green coffee extract is self-affirmed GRAS. It is highly soluble with a neutral sensory profile, and can be an effective when delivered as a singular supplement or incorporated into a supplement formula, beverage, or food formulation. Green coffee extract contains >65% total polyphenols and is standardized to contain >50% chlorogenic acid. As compared to other antioxidant extracts like green tea, grape seed, or pine bark, the chlorogenic and caffeic acid found in Green coffee extract are the most effective and helps in protecting against LDL oxidation as much as 14X greater, to have 8X higher antioxidant capacity, and is absorbed at a rate of 7X greater.

Our range of green tea extract is derived from dried Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis) leaves which are found in South India. The main active ingredients present in it are Epigallocatechin (EGCG) and Polyphenols. Green tea extracts are available for EGCG and Polyphenol and can be used in capsules, tablets and beverage applications.

Therapeutic Action: EGCG shows anti-oxidant activity invitro as well as inviro and can prevent living cells from oxidative impairment. The activity of EGCG has been shown to be superior to a-tocopherol. EGCG inhibits spontaneous hepatoma development in laboratory mice and thus can be used as an anti-cancer agent. EGCG inhibits dental plaque formation as well as preventing dental cavities Green Tea Polyphenols boosts the growth of essential bacteria and suppresses the growth of carcinogenic bacteria in the intestine. It can also be used to treat viral diseases that are caused by the influenza, vaccinia and herpes simplex viruses. Green Tea Polyphenols increases HDL cholesterol and decreases blood pressure.

Dosage: An intake of 0.3-0.7g of polyphenol per day is considered optimum dosage.
